1. Who We Are

YunTech Electronics Limited ("we", "us") is a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, with its registered office at Unit A7, 12/F, Astoria Building, 34 Ashley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. We are the data user responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Scope

This policy covers personal data collected through this website. It does not cover data collected through other channels — direct email correspondence, trade shows, or contractual documentation — although the same principles apply to how we handle it.

3. What We Collect

Information you choose to send us. This website does not host a server-side enquiry form. When you use the RFQ form, the details you enter are assembled into a message in your own email application, and nothing reaches us until you choose to send it. What you send may include:

• Name and company name
• Email address, telephone number or messaging contact
• Country or region
• Details of your component requirement

Information collected automatically. When you visit this website, our analytics provider records technical information including your approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. See section 4.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is used. It sets the following cookies in your browser:

• _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires after 2 years
• _ga_<container-id> — maintains session state; expires after 2 years

Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Data collected is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside Hong Kong. Google's own handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing, or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share this data with advertisers.

How to opt out. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings, or by using your browser's private browsing mode. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to use any part of this website.

5. How We Use It, and On What Basis

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and fulfil orders — this is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and to perform that contract;
• maintain the commercial and accounting record of any resulting transaction — this is necessary to comply with our legal obligations;
• understand aggregate website usage so we can improve the site — this rests on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our own website, balanced against your privacy.

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell personal data.

6. Who We Share It With

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties except:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf — our email provider (Tencent), our website host (Cloudflare) and our analytics provider (Google) — each acting under our instructions or their own published terms;
• Suppliers and logistics providers, where disclosure is necessary to source or deliver material you have ordered, limited to what that purpose requires;
• where required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority.

7. Transfers Outside Hong Kong

Some of the providers named above process data outside Hong Kong, including in the United States and mainland China. Where personal data is transferred outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that it will be handled with a level of protection comparable to that required under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

8. How Long We Keep It

• Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction — retained for up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Records relating to a completed transaction — retained for 7 years from the end of the relevant financial year, to meet record-keeping requirements applicable to Hong Kong companies.
• Analytics data — retained by Google for 14 months from the date of collection.

9. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry correspondence is held in business email accounts protected by access controls, and access is limited to staff who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to request a copy of it, and to request correction of data that is inaccurate. We will respond within 40 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for complying with a data access request, as permitted by the Ordinance.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may additionally have the right to request erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, to receive your data in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. Children

This website is directed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected in that date.
